~~Hujan emas di negara orang...~~

Salaam & hi people,

Got nothing much to say, just nak share pengalaman arini jek, not only about today actually, hari2 yang lepas pun. Ermm... today jamah nasi only at 9 pm, after almost 3 hours selepas waktu berbuka. Kenapa? Well, sebab ada kelas. Berbuka tadi makan apa? Hm.. Sempatlah jamah 4-5 biji kismis, kismis je, not kurma occay, then sembahyang, terus terkocoh-kocoh g kelas. Nak teguk air pun tak ingat.

Mesti korang pk, apsal la minah ni citer pasal pengalaman berbuka pulak, cam takdek topik lain. Takde lah, just nak bagitau, bersyukur la semua2 yang ada kat M'sia nun, jangan merungut, even ada banyak kelas + assignment + kerja, tapi waktu berbuka tetap diperuntukkan, kat sini.. who cares? Lecturer mat saleh tu nak bagi pelepasan waktu berbuka, dalam mimpi je la, nak sembahyang pun, buat2 keluar nak g toilet, raya pun belum tentu boleh raya, raya tetap raya, tapi dalam kelas jer la (^-^) redha, so orang2 di sana, hargai segala apa yang ada di sekeliling, even walaupun benda tu kita tak suka, at least... appreciate, mana tahu masa ke hadapan, kita takkan jumpa lagi benda tu.

Orang kebiasaannya selalu bercakap, 'wah, bestnye belajar kat oversea', ye ke? At certain point yes, in term of experience, lain.. lain sangat dari negara sendiri, ada yang positif & tak kurang jugak negatif nye. Kalau setakat nak jalan berjalan-jalan for 2-3 weeks, couldnt be denied memang teruja + best. I reckon I can survive for another several years if only at least 1 of my family member is here, air mata pun dah kering, tapi kadang-kadang merambu jugak kuar, huhu. Yes, definitely..... Kawan-kawan memang ramai, yer... semua pun baik2, tapi tak sama dengan family sendiri, walau apa pun, mesti ada the differences, kan?! And among all of the siblings, I yang selalu away dari family, padahal I yang paling manja sekali (dah diganti oleh Liana kenit), dunno why, maybe dah tersurat macam tu, redha.

And... pengalaman bekerja sambil belajar memang memenatkan, tambah lagi di negara asing, and sekali lagi kadang-kadang air mata ni bergenang tanpa disuruh, baru terasa bertuahnya kalau belajar di tanahair sendiri, serba serbi sempurna, I mean, at least kita familiar dengan suasana sekeliling. I remember, a friend of mine told me once, education di Malaysia tak membolehkan student bekerja, yeah, maybe I akan ada alasan yang sama kalau I belajar di M'sia, but after gone through 2 different systems, what I could say is the education system here is more tight + independent which means it requires students to be more focus and enthusiastic towards their assessments. Flexible means you have to be more responsible. But still most of the student here are working in order to survive. "Di mana ada kemahuan, di situ ada jalan", yes, those are the right words, semangat & iltizam tu perlu... (motivasi untuk diri sendiri ni sebenarnye)

Oklah, cukup2 lah tu merepek, dah lenguh tangan occay, nak layan jiwa jap.. :~~

Dalam dingin subuh hatiku terusik,
Kenang nasib diri di rantauan,
Bergema takbir raya menitis air mata,
Terbayang suasana permai desa,

Rindu hati ini inginku kembali,
Pada ayah bonda dan saudara...

Hanya ku sampaikan doa & kiriman tulus ikhlas,
Dari jauh ku pohonkan ampun maaf...

Restu ayah bonda ku harap selalu,
Demi anakmu yang kini jauh...

(Allahyarham Sudirman Haji Arshad)

~~Kadang-kadang~~

Kadang-kadang...
Kita kena pentingkan diri-sendiri
Supaya tak selamanya di tindas
Atas kesediaan kita yang kadang kala terlalu lembut hati

Kadang-kadang...

Kadang-kadang...
Kite perlu luahkan prinsip kita

Kadang-kadang... bertafakur, berfikirlah...
Kembali kepada-Nya

~~Blessed Friday~~

Salaam & hi all,

Today baru terasa nak update blog, this week macam bz sket kt ofis + assignments uni. Bertubi-tubi keja itu ini datang, baru siap initial design for a new project in Box Hill. Tertekan jiwa raga since pagi tadi bila bos asyik tanya drawing dah siap ke blum, huhu... kira sampai pening la di buatnya. Luckily semalam dah buat separuh kat umah.

Mak aiii, berangin semacam, nak jalan kain melekat-lekat, tapi still control ayu (^-^). Cuaca arini pun bagus, suasana yang sesuai untuk pergi jalan2 & window shopping, heeeee... just a bit windy jek. Today takdek idea nak berbuka dengan menu apa, hmmm... most probably makan kat luar je la kot. Letih memasak lagipun stok bahan mentah kat umah pun dah abes... nanti bila sampai angin rajin baru nak g beli.

Haish.. yang si anak bos ni ape kes, asyik lalu lalang dari pagi tadi. Naik rimas aku, tiap2 kali aku datang kerja pun macam tu, rasa dalam setengah jam tu ada 4-5 kali dia lalu, nak ngorat cakap je la... kekekeke! (perasan seketika, Abang jangan marah ehh). Ada ala2 nak ajak bersembang, sorry la.. banyak lagi keja lain nak buat, seperti meng 'update' blog nih, hihi (^-^). Owh.... sempena hari Jumaat dalam bulan yang mulia ni, nak attach sedikit tazkirah, more to sejarah Islam I guess...moga dapat memberi sedikit ilmu pengetahuan buat kita semua.. InsyaAllah...

Eheh, ni nama nye kuih lapis langit, hihi, sebab ape langit? Coz it's blue in color.. hihi, actually I nak post this entry last few days, tapi tak sempat, yang terpampang dalam gambar tu was my third attemp, after the first 2 attemps tak jadi, huhu.. lembik and jadi macam agar2, but rasa dia still sedap, lemak manis gitu, auww!!

Saje je improvise sket kuih lapis tu, orang selalu masak dalam talam besar kan, I buat dalam silicon mini muffin cup, di kukus dalam bamboo container, macam dalam gambar kt bawah tu, itu la hasilnye..chumel kan, then I takde coloring kaler merah.. biru jek yang ade, hentam je la, janji rasa kuih lapis, warna tak penting, teringin nak makan sangat, sebab tu tak penat2 mencuba sampai la nampak rupa kuih lapis ni (^-^), errmm, ok la.. dat's all, enjoy the pics!

~~Relax~~

Today, I should say... I could take a rest for a day, from all the tiring works.. sangat penat otak ok, done the mid-sem crit last night, and it went well, have to develop & explore more, Lindsay said. The theme.."Designing a new museum : celebrating the city", apa benda yang nak di celebrate nye, itu still samar2 lagi, tapi conceptual sume dah ok, takpe... nanti perah otak cari idea...

And as usual, it supposed to be my working day today, but Im jobless, hmm.. keje dah takde sangat kt ofis, klu g pun goyang kaki jek, lagipun klu tak g my boss dah ada option lain, keja tu boleh pass kt Amber, another technical assistant at the office, but she's more to graphic design stuff, hmm.. so decided to stay at home dari sakit bahu mengangkut laptop yang berat tu g ofis. Tunggu je la a call from my boss, klu ade... ade keja, klu takde... nasib badan.... masuk angin kuar asap... rasa macam nk cari keja lain pun ada, should I? Ermm... hang on dulu la kan..

Teringinnya nak balik time raya, unfortunately... dengan dukacitanya jadual sekolahku dah termaktub hari tu ade studio, uhuks. So, dengan penuh harapan I mencari-cari tarikh yang sesuai untuk balik, mid of October..ade cuti 10 hari, so dengan penuh semangatnye cari flight ticket, lepas satu..satu lagi airlines... hampa, takde!! Klu ada pun mahal tak hingat, huhu... takpe la, bertahan je la kat sini, as long as Dia ada, aku berserah..

For iftar, nak masak ape yer, tak larat la nak pk, klu ikut hati makan megi je, letih la nak masak, osmet pun jarang berbuka kat rumah, I je yang jadi penghuni setia, kadang2 macam penunggu pulak, huhu.. nanti la petang2 sikit baru pk, sekarang nak buat research untuk history seminar pulak, kunun2 rajinkan diri (^-^)

Occay all, have a good day...muaaahhsss, salaam

It happened sometimes, some people loveeee to emphasize themselves, without thinking about others, hmm.. somebody locked the computer which link to the laser cutter, owh I WONT forgive you.. shame on you.. Nick Vesser, haku terkejar-kejar balik umah amik drawing, angkut MDF board yang berat giler tu sampai sakit otot tangan ni, tunggu tram for another 20 minutes dalam kesejukan, but it was useless, sampai lab, ko locked kan komputer tu yer... eyyy geramnye kat orang yang penting diri sendiri nih, ingat laser cutter tu bapak dia yang beli agaknye... :P

Disebabkan terlalu geram + penat, air mata merambu-rambu kuar dari lift nk kuar uni sampai la kt tram stop, semua orang tengok, pedulikan!!!! Janji terkeluar semua amarah yang ada dalam hati ni... actually tak abes lagi geram ni, but now dah cool down sket, tau tak elok marah lama2..... nnt mood baik taknak datang, satu keje pun tk boleh buat... hmm, takpe... takpe.... redha... sabar separuh daripada iman... hopefully everyhting is going to be fine tomorrow.. InsyaAllah....

~~6th day Iftar...~~

Since it was first weekend in a fasting month, me and few friends decided to gather and have an iftar together. Me and my flatmate were welcoming 2 guests, Kak Dilah and Kak Zura. Unit 58 tenants prepared 'nasi tomato', 'bubur lambuk', 'jelatah' and 'buah melaka'. Kak Zura brought along with her 'ayam masak merah' & mochi, sooo.. yummy.. ok! And Kak Dilah, cooked 'daging hitam' & 'sambal hitam' + rendang ayam kering (Cik Ros yang masak, tapi dia tak datang) , sangatlah pedas ok, but then they're very tasteful (^-^).

I coudnt help myself to taste all the foods, and sudahnya sampai sakit pinggang. Kak Dilah pun sampai terlelap kena penangan nasi tomato, ngantuk sangat lepas makan nasi katanye. Then we performed solahs together , seronok! Bukan selalu dapat berjemaah, masing2 busy dengan hal masing2 (^-^)

Hihihihi.... syukur Alhamdulillah, murah rezeki... hopefully there will be another iftar gathering next weekend, I've always love to gather and share all the foods since we are far away from all the Bazaar(s) Ramadan + 'makanan tunjuk' back home, huhu...sob..sob... till then, daaaaa.....

~~Regular Health Mistakes~~

All of us make little health mistakes that cause damage to our bodies in the long run - simply because we are unaware we are doing something wrong. Here are some of the most common mistakes made by many of us.

Crossing our legs

Do you cross your legs at your knees when sitting? Although we may believe that this is the lady-like elegant way to sit, sitting this way cuts down circulation to your legs. If you don't want varicose veins to mar the beauty of your legs and compromise your health, uncross your legs every time you realise you have one knee on top of the other. The best way to sit is to simply place both legs together on the floor, balancing your weight equally. If you feel like changing position, instead of crossing your legs, simply move both legs together to one side. As an alternative, you could also consider crossing your legs loosely at the ankles. This is a classically elegant way to sit, and is far better for your legs and your health than sitting with your legs crossed at your knees.

Not changing our toothbrush

How often do you change your toothbrush? Most of us wait until most of the bristles have either fallen off, or are in such bad shape that we'd be embarrassed to pull out our brush in public. However, since not many of us need to pull out our brush in public, we carry on with our frayed one until we lose it. Replace your toothbrush often. Damaged bristles can harm the enamel, and don't massage your gums well. If you find brushing your teeth a pain like I do, but know you must do it, you might as well be doing it right. Imagine going through the annoyance of brushing your teeth twice a day only to find out that you're damaging your enamel every time you clean your teeth. Also, use a brush with soft bristles unless your dentist has advised otherwise.

Eating out often

There are oils that are high in cholesterol, and oils that cause little harm and are better for your heart. However, no matter how light
the oil is, it is never a good idea to eat too much of it. Avoid fried foods.Remember that in all probability your favorite Indian food

restaurant throws a huge, HUGE chunk of butter in a tiny bowl of dal. Rita, who worked in the kitchen of a 5 star hotel, was shocked when she saw the cook chop a 500gm butter slab in half, and throw half into a Paneer Makhani dish. No wonder the customers left licking their fingers. And no wo nder they felt so stuffed and heavy afterwards. Limit outdoor eating unless you know that you're getting served light and healthy food.

Skipping breakfast

Never, ever skip breakfast. Remember, when you wake up in the morning it's been around 10-12 hours since your last meal. Your body needs food now, more than at any other time. Eat a heavy breakfast. You will then be busy through the day, and the calories will get expended quickly. If you are trying to diet, eat a light dinner. Here are some more common health mistakes we make. Being informed and making a few changes can help make us feel a whole lot better.

High heels

High heels sure look great, but they're murder for your back. This however doesn't mean you should steer clear of stilettos. Wear them, but not when you know you will be walking around a lot. Wear them when going out for lunch or dinner - when the only walking you will be doing is to your car, to the table, and back. Avoid high heels when you are going somewhere on foot. If you are constantly tempted to wear your heels, take a good look at your flats. Is there something about them you dislike? Invest in a new pair of beautiful flats or shoes with a low heel. Buy something you love, that you will enjoy wearing. If possible, get a matching bag. You will then enjoy your flats as much as you do your heels.

Sleeping on a soft bed

You don't have to sleep on the floor be kind to your back, but do make sure you have a firm mattress. Although a mattress on springs is soft and lovely to sink into, it's bad for your back. If you already have an old bed with springs, you don't need to invest in a new one - simply get a thick wooden plank put over the springs, and place the mattress on the plank. Similarly, if your mattress is old and lumpy, throw it out and get a new one. Your neck and your back will thank you. The same rule applies to sofas. If you will be spending hours on a sofa, get a firm yet comfortable one. Sofas you completely sink into are not the best idea.

Pillows

No matter how comfortable sleeping with ten cushions is, have pity on your neck and resist. Sleep with one pillow, and make sure it is not too thick. If your pillow gets lumpy, discard it and go for a new one. Get a thin pillow if you sleep on your stomach, and something a little thicker if you sleep on your back, to give your neck adequate support.

Not exercising

So all of us know we s hould exercise more, but many of us don't. This is a health mistake we consciously make! And why is that? Simply because we refuse to admit the damage we are causing to our bodies by not working out. A number of people only start working out once they've experienced a warning signal. Don't wait for a heart attack to strike before you decide to opt for a lifestyle change. Make the change now. You don't need to train for the marathon to be in top shape. Half an hour of brisk walking three to four times a week will make a world of difference to your health. You could then increase this to forty minutes, four times a week - and you're all set. If you haven't exercised for a week, you're making a mistake.
