~~Ropa-ropanya.....~~

Link to the previous entry , this was what happened last night, huhu... baca seniri lah, malas nak story..

Fire guts Lygon Street Landmark

An intense fire destroyed an iconic Lygon Street restaurant less than an hour after staff locked up last night.

Fire crews were called to Il Gambero, co-owned by Melbourne food identity and former Richmond footballer Frank Dimattina, about 11.50pm to find the entire building well alight.

Did you see the blaze? Email details, photos and video to scoop@theage.com.au.

The first crew on the scene called in additional resources to help subdue the blaze, which started on the ground floor but soon spread to the first floor and into the roof.

"The building has suffered extensive damage," said the Metropolitan Fire Brigade's John Taylor.

"What the fire didn't get, the smoke ruined.

"It took about 20 minutes for our crews to bring it under control. After it was brought under control we checked the buildings on both sides for fire spread but they appeared to be clear of damage."

Huhu, dats why abang bomba datang berduyun-duyun semalam, even sampai this morning pun, bomba still checking part of the building, mana tau kang merebak ke tempat lain pulak.... sob sob... Kalau nak tau, Lygon Street mmg terkenal dengan restaurant2 yang best, especially for Italian food, and also ada various ice-cream shop yang sangat sedap, pilih je yang mana satu. The blaze tak jauh pun dari umah, depan tu je haaa, dalam 100 meter gitu... Hopefully sume orang selamat la...
